In truth, I had hardly heard of him until recently and by default didn't see him as one of their star players and I am at the very least surprised the fee is mooted at 16 million.
That was quite non sensationalist by Ozims standards....
Happy with the club taking a measured gamble though.

Why are folks laughing at Zimm?
How many of you can honestly say you knew anything about the juvenile prior to now?
Is that a trick question? Why are folks laughing at Zimm?

It's just textbook Zim. For years he's been whining that Wenger 'refuses' to spend money (with some justification, it has to be said).
Now we have money available, Wenger's spending it so there go the goalposts and now he's complaining we are spending money.

Got me lots of points in the Fantasy footie last season. Can't quite believe he's 19, looks very composed, built well, quick feet too. He played very well against us, so I am sure that is what got Wenger thinking. Aurier was probably a decoy all along...he'd be off to the AcoN every other year...and Wenger isn't much of a fan of that. I think the way we are conducting our transfer business so far is brilliant. A striker and another CB would be nice...perhaps our bid for Carvalho was to get Khedira to lower his wage demands...I'm not fussed which one it is thoughFalcao might also be worth a bid...but I still have a feeling that Balotelli might well be an Arsenal player before the close of play. Wenger is a huge fan.
