    Thumbs up Happy 40th Diaby

Stick a fork in him he's done.
Abou Diaby injured: Arsenal midfielder suffers his 40th injury since joining the Gunners to throw future in doubt

Much as I like the guy and feel sorry for him, it's time for him to quit or Arsene to man up.

He's been fit all throughout pre-season but no one considered him an option, says it all really.

Not really. I think we may have to take it easy with his recovery and take a different approach. Ease him back in instead of going full pelt and straight into the starting line up. I've always been surprised to see Diaby starting games a week or two after resuming full training.

There's no point in fretting over Diaby any more - we can't fire him for being injured, and the time for being able to sell him off is loooooong gone, so there's nothing left to do but let him see out his contract. I just hope we weren't basing any of our plans around him, even if it were in the most minor of ways as a bit if squad cover...

We're all aware of his injury record but I don't think you guys realise he started all three of the opening Prem games and also the Champions League game. He started away against Hull, away to Liverpool and also started against Chelsea and City.

He can't start every game after coming back from a long lay off. Rosicky doesn't even start 4 games on the trot. If we want to get anything out of him, we need a different approach. Check last seasons line up and you'll see what I'm talking about. No games are easy but back to back games and then going into intense CL games or up against our rivals....too much in my opinion. He can't feature like a regular player.

I hope the club take a similar approach to how we've managed Rosicky. It's been a while since Rosicky has picked up a long lay off.
