Anyway rumours (also reported in the Mail) that we've met the release clause for Remy and are trying to beat Chelsea to the signing. Can't see it happening unless we sell/loan Campbell or Podolski. Any striker moves seem against what Wenger has been saying, apart from all the stuff about poker games.

In fairness, the last time WUMger was asked about a striker, I think his first response was saying we would stll be looking and from after that he then started listing all the forward players we have.
Having said that, there is so much transfer nonsense I can't wait for Jim White Day to pass.
