A £12 Million loan fee is nothing for Falcao, it was ok for us to offer Arshavin to Zenit on Loan and I think Zenit paid a loan fee for something like 4 or 5 mill for a shit player. I just dont know what goes on in Wengers head, if you look back at the Ozil signing, that was a panic buy as all pre season we were looking at Suarez and Higuain and then ended up with as left winger?? Then pre season again the focus was a striker and then we sign another expensive winger? Can someone please explain his transfer stratedgy coz I just dont get it at all. We needed a striker prior to Girouds injury and now we need two let a lone one. And why does he always leave the business till the last minute when a deal can fall through over a mill or two. We were quoted £10mill loan fee - according to media today. Then it went to £20mill when the gypos came in. Apparently we were front runners, first in and Monaco agreed the fee. Either player didn't want it (unlikely as he's ended up at Utd) or we wouldn't pay up. I guess this would have all happened before Giroud got injured. Amazing we didn't go straight back and get it done once he picked up the injury though. Seems like we are going with Sanogo until 2015 then. Wenger can hang himself from a bridge if that's the case. He has no excuses for what happens next if Sanogo is the guy he's picked.

Anyone else getting the impression we are just dropping opportunistic bids here and there and hoping a club just eventually accepts. It seems we have been after a number of players other the past few weeks, especially back up CB's and the mentioned players have gone elsewhere due to us dithering/haggling or both. That greek lad went to Roma, the young french guy appears Roma bound too.
