I don't hope we get battered at all. That would be awful and in a period where nothing can change in the team with Wenger in charge it wouldn't help one bit. I wouldn't go as far as being abusive either. He doesn't deserve that.
But I agree with your sentiment about Wenger and money. Winning a trophy was always going to change nothing. The best we can hope for again is a cup because he will always handicap his own teams now because of poor tactics and mismanagement of the squad.
Dortmund have run at least 7k more than us tonight, according to the stats. They press everywhere. We hold zones that are easy to pass around. They move the ball quickly and have players running. We tap it around attempting to unlock the prefect pass, usually though the middle.
Or put another way, our tactics are absolutely shit and it doesn't really matter who we have on the pitch if this is the system we are going to play against a decent and aggressive opponent.

We faced a very strong and competitive team tonight, they haven't kicked us off the pitch they've just been 100% better than us and I find that sad.
