Its going to get worse before it gets better. The Board are as gulity as the manager for allowing him to go on this one man crusade of running a football club, from top down. The board have no spine to to make decisions to replace him and will allow him to see out his next 2 seasons after this. So there we have it chaps, we just need to ride out the 14/15 and 15/16 This club will become a major force again make no mistake, but it will take maybe 5 years or more post Wenger ers. Until then we will have to put up and shut up and just endure this torture. Simples.
The only way for Arsenal fans concerns to be heard is to boycott the next home game, which we all know is not going to happen, The next best thing is for the fans to turn thier back on the game for a 10 minute period. Failing that there should an arranged demostration outside the ground involving all the arsenal blog sites in the UK. But again we all no it will be in vain as Wenger wont be sacked or even moved upstairs. They have made him the only unsacakble employee in the entire world. Wenger will leave only on his terms and when he is ready. But a demo or organised back turn during the next home will spark a media debate and higlight the problem even more.
Would a boycott or a protest be an appropriate response following on from a draw in a CL group we're going to qualify from anyway, and our second loss of the season in the PL (the other one being to the chavs)? In terms of results it's not as if we're in a catastrophic slump so any fans planning to protest would be advised to make it crystal clear what their complaint is or they run the risk of being laughed out of the place. It's true enough, Wenger is making mistakes and he appears to be repeating those mistakes season after season. That's what fans need to find an effective way to highlight because if there's even the hint of an appearance it's a strop following a few bad results it will be a pointless excercise.
