The 2.5mill could have been used to compete with the big boys in terms of wages for a proper player that could help us today, instead of helping whoever we loan this kid to next year. Campbell is the Costa rican Park, he was signed for no fucking reason. the club chased his agent all around south america while we were about to lose Nasri and cesc and now it looks like it was all a waste of time.

It's slightly worse than Park. I can chalk that deal up to a last minute impulse buy that we misjudged.
But Campbell's case is off because we must have had scouts watching him for a while and went to the trouble of loaning him out just so he could get a work permit. After finally getting one, we now don't want him. Reminds me of the Vela case. Add Ryo to that list along with Wellington Silva.
