He is defensively very solid, but can also help in the offensive. Schalke had often set off on the offensive this season, and it was often Sead Kolasinac who made offensive flanking. He was also a great motivator in the team. I'm very curious about whether he can play his style in England as well.
It won't come down to the player, it will be down to Wenger. If he silently dismisses the bullshit he has been consumed with for over a decade and gets back to a sane and rationale approach to what is, let's face it, a glorified pub league then the players will stand up and be counted or they'll fall. But if he decides this new signing will be ideal for playing pretty triangles in non-offensive positions then it doesn't really matter who we have signed.

Never knew that he was a world record holder:

I always said we needed a goal scoring full back![]()
Our best player in pre season so far.

What a man.
Worth every penny.
Looks good at CB and LB.
Can score too.
Shame he didn't cost £50m as we can't win the transfer war now.
He has impressed each time I've seen him. Incredibly, despite my lack of interest, I've seen him three times now.
He could turn out to be our best signing since Alexis.
