Read the Reddit thread and it's because of two things:

- 3 pm game so you don't have a UK based feed to leech off
- NBC have greedily added an NBC Gold option to milk more money from EPL followers (because it's growing in popularity in the US) and so it's more difficult & costly now for US viewers to watch the game and hence stream it.
