So what do we think of the VAR exercise yesterday. If it only seems tailored to producing home victories, then it is useless. Nevertheless the ref yesterday couldn't haul Pool over the line despite his best efforts.

In the Wigan-W Ham game a pen was given for a handball that was totally ridiculous. Where do you expect the defenders hand to be except on his body. Yet the ref did noit even take any time to review that incident before insisting it was a pen.
