For me Elneny and Jack are the best midfield partnership we have currently.
But agree Wenger will stick with Xhaka because he's too stubborn to admit he paid 35 million for a dud, and Ramsey is his golden boy.
Money can't be the reason why he won't bench Xhaka, can it? Wenger is so odd. He has no problem benching Lacazette and already has his replacement at playing ahead of him. Laca was our record signing not so long ago! I can't work out what is going on with Xhaka and how he keeps getting games.
It’s either stubbornness (not so much related to money but I’ll prove you all wrong mentality) or he’s seeing something that the rest of us don’t.
I can imagine Xhaka in training looks like Xabi Alonso. Being able to ping the ball from all distances under no pressure.
Begin to press him though and he’ll fold completely, I don’t know how Wenker can trust him so much.
