As much as everyone will say AC are shit, they have been in excellent form under Gattuso and have barely conceded a goal in the past few months.

Despite the team not deserving credit for finally turning up and showing what they're capable of on a one-off occasion, in the context of the fucked-up situation you have to say this is a hugely unexpected and impressive display so far.
