Conflating of records like that doesn’t happen in any other sport.

The reason there are more goals is because the level is poor. There’s less tackling because they are less aggressive which is why the games are so dull to watch. Same for the crowd - theres rarely any chanting, or passion from the crowd which creates a dead atmosphere across the pitch.

And attendances are down this World Cup too.
