NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
i'm more concerned that he's taking Auba.
he should be PL-only as a firm rule until such time as we really need him in EL games (probably the final...if we get there...)
Ozil is forever a mystery. Hopefully Auba doesn't start.
Hopefully Pepe finds the net....really needs a goal. Don't suppose anyone at the club will coach him to use his right foot....
expecting a roller coaster of excitement from this years Europa League.....
no idea if Frankfurt are any good. should be decent I guess... could be a tricky game away from home. no idea why Auba is going when laca is already out injured... surely that is a risk too far. Ozil should be on a pay as you play basis.
Frankfurt are probably the strongest team we've been drawn against in the EL group stages, which doesn't say much give how shitty this competition is but it's not an easy game by any means. No doubt we will get turned over if we don't apply ourselves correctly.
His ball for AMN on Sunday which then yielded the assist for our second goal was pretty good
He as good as made that goal.
I'm not arguing he's contributed enough but the question here is it Ozil saying he needs a rest or Emery deciding not to play him because of reasons. He didn't play Ozil much last year.
What you say could be the case but I would offer that most players of any gumption or motivation these days will kick up a stink if they aren't regularly playing.
