How does the neutral venue thing help anything?
I mean, arguably if there is no crowd then I guess home advantage is limited anyway but what’s the issue with clubs playing at their grounds?

That said - chances of any football player dying or even getting seriously ill from COVID19 - ZERO. Big fat ZERO. And they are all married to fit women. Kids don't get it. So it's only players living with their grandma that have anything to worry about. So I don't know why they are even bothering with all this bullshit because there's no risk. These are guys that charge around the field putting in potentially leg breaking tackles. But they are worried about catching flu.
At least Ozil will have an excuse for being sick for away games now.

Most clubs have separate training grounds, a la Arsenal with London Colney
Also there's a concern that even if they're not allowed in, fans will gather outside the 'home' ground and (shock horror) not observe social distancing rules...
And btw i'm just passing on what i've read/heard, don't shoot the messenger
Saw a Tweet that said Football was sick long before the pandemic, it should stay in quarantine.
Hear hear!
Heads up! Don't miss this!!!!!!
