Partey is much more simplistic given Atleti won't consider anything else other than his buyout clause.
Makes sense we'd be working on the more complicated one first, however Partey I think will be predicated on the amount of outgoings.

Torreira close to joining Athletico on loan, but no obligation to buy. Hopefully this means we are confident of bringing someone in otherwise I don't see this as a good deal for us. He is comfortably better than most of our existing centre mids.
Well if we can actually get someone who can keep hold of the ball and recycle it effectively then that is a start. None of our current lot can do anything, they can't pass, press or tackle. A dominant midfielder doesn't have to be one that is physically dominant, dominant can be technical too.
There is some talk that Saliba could be sent back on loan to Rennes. Doesn’t sound like he’s ready to play, which would explain why he hasn’t been involved this season.

i jsut want Gabriel to permanently take the place of Luiz - he was very competent last night, did a decent job on Salah and doesn't have all the baggage and mistakes that come with Luiz
i just wish Arteta would bet on some of these younger players a bit more and give them longer runs in the first team
Gabriel has to be a regular starter going forwards, looks excellent every time he plays.
Hopefully Saliba comes good, still plenty of time as he is only 19. However you have to question again dropping 100 million on him and Pepe last summer. Glad Raul has been given the boot.
These rumours of wanting Jorginho on loan aren't going away. Not exactly the mobile creative midfielder we desperately need. Would be very underwhelming..
Jorginho would confirm my suspicion about what Artetaball is. We said for a while we had lost our identity but now I think we’re getting a new one and I would describe us as a defensive team now.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
