So far this tournament, the margins are going against them. With the talent they have, they should be a bit more free to express themselves, but when your manager picks four centre-backs as the foundation for your team, it tells you everything.
It's the same as England, with a higher calibre of player. So even more dissapointing to see the conservatism and safety first approach.
Also, Sane seems to have completely lost his footballing ability. He looks incredibly poor since he left Citeh.
France have a habit of employing the duffest least inspiring coach available. Yet the are successful in spite of it. They can certainly play better than this.
