Yup, like I said, I'd have settled for that gratefully before the match.

No attacking outlet and that is what led to that goal. Taking off all of our attackers and focusing on defence with no counter attacking outlet was suicide.

Good result, undone by great goal. Dortmund is clearly the fav in this group.

Yes - I think you need to keep a credible attack on the pitch to keep them from pushing too many players forward. Never understood why we keep taking them off near the end.

Substitutions almost turned a win into a loss but Chesney made the vital save to get us the draw. Going down to ten men in last few minutes made it really tough for us so I suppose a good result in the end.

They've drawn at home, we haven't. I'd say we're favourites at the moment tbf.

True, I can understand if we are at least 2 goals up but at 1-0 .. not so wise methinks

I can see the theory, bolster the defence and leave one man up as the outlet. Regrettably that one man up top was Chamakh so that effectively reduced us to 10. Taking Theo off and replacing him with Frimpong was a stupid substitution but not overly damaging. However taking Gervinho off and bringing on a full back, WOW, that's a thick as it gets. Dortmund gladly accepted the invitation and almost won it in the end. We have a terrible manager and terrible coaches.
