Yes and no, I think I was reading they've spent about £280m net spend in the last calendar year, which is approaching a record anytime, anywhere.

But I'm sure they're nowhere near done. Still in the British phase of Mark Hughes and Wayne Bridge. The silly stuff is still to come.

Haven’t really followed them too much and yeah there’s obviously the money, but until this Isak bloke signed I haven’t actually looked at many of their Saudi signings and felt they’re going to be that impactful. Seems like they’ve just built a pretty functioning team using a lot of the players that were already there.

It is shaping up to only be 1 in in 5 for Newcastle this season so far, granted they played against Man City and Liverpool but you'd hope for more than that elsewhere.

    Mind the gap
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Yeah it took my by surprise tbh when someone mentioned it [probably some Guardian journalist] because as you say, Isak aside, nothing seems ridiculous. Well, Isak and Chris Wood, aside. But they're almost quietly assembling a fuck it who cares!!!!!!!!!
