They're used to it here. Don't play for something important. They don't want to play under pressure. They don't want to play under stress. Tottenham's story is this. 20 years there is the owner & they never won something. Why?

Has a manager ever before been begging to be sacked so obviously?
Really must get some new St Totteringham’s Day bunting![]()
Win tomorrow and we're 20 points ahead of them
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.
I was worried when Conte went there. He’s a proper winner.
I underestimated the power of the Spursy![]()
Conte.
Maybe Spurs will once and for all realise you can’t short cut your way to success, especially if you’re a club like them who don’t have much to spend. Coaches like Conte will never succeed unless they’re at clubs who traditionally win a lot.
Between 2018 and now their spending has been relatively the same as ours
Certainly only Chelsea, city, United and Liverpool have spent more than them
How much have they spaffed up the wall on full backs etc
Kane and Son have become their Auba and Laca….long balls into them in the hope that something comes off
The money has been spent on the wrong type of players and since they got rid of Poch they’ve brought in the wrong kind of manager.
Mourinho? That was never going to work
Nuno? That was a desperate choice, club was too big for him
Conte? Just a big name for the sake of it, without any consideration of whether his philosophy meets with how Spurs want to play
For me Graham Potter went to the wrong London Club, he would have been perfect for Spurs. Let’s hope Chelsea and Spurs never realise this
