I also think we might have been a little complacent. That was the first derby in a while that we entered where the majority would have predicted a comfortable Arsenal win.

Nah, I don't think anyone in their right mind is scapegoating Viera when, as mentioned, there are other more appropriate players.

We were clearly less fluid when he came off. I'm purely speculating that he was withdrawn because Arteta thought a CM of him and Jorginho lacks strength/athleticism.

Jorginho doesn't move the ball forward enough or quickly enough and Havertz barely moves the ball at all. Those changes predictably lost us control of the midfield and how this seems painfully obvious to everyone except Arteta is genuinely concerning. Like Liverpool and West Ham (there are more I just can't remember offhand) last season and Fulham this season the points dropped are firmly Arteta's fault for more horrific in game management.

I thought we'd most likely win, but not sure about comfortable. We were certainly a lot better than them last season but they've unbeaten so far too - sure, they've played games they "should" be getting results in. But the Spursy is strong with those ones, they usually mess up some of those and they haven't so far. I didn't expect it to be comfortable.
