Mac I think you are overdoing it.

There is still a lot to play for if we can get our act right...luckily we've got a break to think a bit.

Personally I think its turned out to be a blessing that we're playing our difficult games so early on.

Weak referee, been given new rules to enforce and is too scared not to enforce them. Should be a rule change in which VAR should monitor yellow card decisions in the event of it being a second yellow card
Fair play, also they have just said that the new rules are applied when an incident seriously affects the flow of the game, then they showed the clip of pedro smashing the ball down the pitch when it went out for a throw - but nothing from the ref.

It's just so blatantly obvious when we have a corrupt and dodgy ref these days.

Don't worry, we will get those points back when Sterling does the double over them this season

And the season before they got the same amount of points as we did last season - granted they did win the league with games to spare in the end.

Can't get 114 points now so league is clearly done, seems rational.
If you consider 1 point from six is the most likely outcome of our next two games, yes

Ah yes, which would only leave...33 games left. Not enough to win in clearly.

Arteta is pissed off, hopefully we appeal Rice red card on the grounds of total and utter inconsistency from the ref

BTW I wasn't too impressed with Arteta's behaviour when Rice was walking off, he literally ignored the shit out of him when the easier thing was to acknowledge him...as a recent ex-player he should have realised the decision was bullshit straight away and showed some empathy. Especially as this occured in front of the fans.

Oh well, just thought I should mention this because if I was one of his players I definitely wouldn't be taking any bullets for him with that sort of attitude!

I don't think we can appeal a second yellow.

Well we can but it wouldn't get anywhere.
