Arsenal vs Manchester United 4.12.2024 KO 20:15 GMT

Since Wenger left us, only Liverpool have more premier league points against Man United than we do.

We’ve won 7 out of the last 12 games. 5 at home, 2 at Old Trafford

Of course that’s not to say tonight will be an easy three points, United have actually conceded fewer goals than us this season. Their main issue has been their lack of goals.

Rashford likes scoring against us, so we need to make sure he gets as little space as possible as along with Fernandes he will be their main danger man

I think we also need to be patient, not panic if we are not winning at half time. It’s a must win of course but we’ve seen what happens when we overcommit and give teams space on the counter

Always a fixture with plenty of drama but one we tend to come out on top in.

I hope I’m laughably wrong but I have a feeling we could suffer with a bit of a new manager bounce tonight.

    2-2.

I'm worried about the new manager bounce too, but we are in good form so....I hope we win, tbh.

Let's say 2-1 to Arsenal. We cannot afford to slip on this banana skin.

notwithstanding my other reply I think this is about right, they will put up a fight but we really ought to be able to deal with them if we play like we have recently

Will be at the game and looking forward to it, despite the ridiculously late KO

This is the last of the traditional top 6 teams we will be playing this half of the season. We've only beaten Spurs away and drawn the rest from winning positions.

On paper, this is the weakest of the lot and we are playing at home. Our usual, try to take the lead and defend it approach is what I expect the manager to try again. It has not succeeded 3 out of 4 times so I'd expect it to fail especially against a Man U whose DNA of late goals is still their somewhere.

We need to batter them. Do exactly what Liverpool did to Man City. Go after them from the get go till the final whistle. I don't expect Arteta to do it, but that's the only way I see us taking 3 points today, as I fully expect the "establishment" to be behind Liverpool now, which will obviously aid another "establishment" team, Man U for today.

Yeah I don’t see the need for the kick off time, from what I can see we are the only London team playing in the capital. And United fans have got to make the long trip back to Surrey
