I should give the bald Dutchman credit, he managed to see very quickly that the languid slow style that he wanted them to play wasn’t going to work, and that he needed to stick to the script that Klopp had left for him. As for Klopp he must be sick as a dog that he didn’t hang on for one more season, but I guess he couldn’t have foreseen the level of City’s collapse or our indifferent form that meant that a side that did fantastically well to challenge for the title last season despite not really being capable of it would be title favourites

I doubt Klopp's that bothered, he won pretty much everything with Liverpool and now has a nice cozy job which doesn't require him to be standing around on freezing cold pitches on a Sunday morning in January
