Good half but the second will be a test with such a thin squad, we could really have done wirh a second from one of those chances

Hopefully we can get a second goal in the first fifteen-twenty minutes of the second half (has tended to be a good time for scoring goals for us) and take off a few tired players. Doesn’t help having that midweek game against Zagreb…but that’s a game where I would look to be giving starts to Sterling, Jorginho, Kiwior etc

I’d argue that Trossard scored on Wednesday mainly because he didn’t overthink it, I wouldn’t have called it a howitzer of a shot he could have tried to set himself or square it for someone else. He didn’t, he just went with instinct and it paid off

No, Wednesday was kind of instinctive, the old Trossard, he hit the ball before anyone expected it.

Today he was just in front of the goal and just needed to guide it, and ends up hitting the ball so hard like he's 40 yards away, the New Trossard, that tends to overdo things.

Also his assist today was kind of instinctive again, if you are a fan of his like I am (at least most of the time) , you can tell his game has changed a lot from when we first bought him.
