I wouldn't go that far, I'm sure they're trying to win every game. But there are some games that teams just get up for more than others.
Plus there are fine lines - Odegaard scores rather than thumping the post, different game.
I get a bit cross when people suggest that some fans are "better" than others because they follow things more closely. I was a season ticket holder for many years, now I barely watch. Things change in life. But I don't regard current season tickets as "better" than me. I actually think people who go home and away are probably a bit too wrapped up in it all, but people do what they do.Also, and this isn't intended to be snobbish and/or an insult, but there are fans and fans - the people that would go to the final and have a good day out would care, but admittedly only once it became a real possibility
But certainly some people care more than others. And I do care much less than I used to. Which is probably healthy actually.
