I find it’s gay women who tend to get married more, but then there’s an old joke even amongst lesbians that going on more than one date means the next step is moving in together.

I know at least five female same sex couples who got engaged in less than six months. With the male gay couples, it’s more a case of pretending not to be jealous when one decides they want an open relationship.
