This is not a million miles from what happened in May 2023. Odegaard caught in possession, Awonyi goes steaming through and 1-0. And the rest of the game was like a man straining to take a shit after spending three days back to beat eating at a Brazilian restaurant for dinner (not knocking Brazilian restaurants in fact I love them, but you do need some fibre to offset all the stuff that will clog your intestines)

If we're going to play Merino up front it might be an idea to start with Tierney (yeah I know Arteta wouldn't) and White as left/right back with us putting the ball out wide as both are good crossers of the ball.
