I'd say it was the opposite - prior to both RM games we, err, drew both our PL games, partly because Arteta - rightly - rotated and rested players

(A) Because it would piss on our bonfire and (B) it would give them financial help by getting into the Champions League next season. I have to say, it is annoying me a little bit as well

Obviously want Spurs out ASAP but if we won the CL, literally nothing can piss on that bonfire. It’s the pinnacle of club football.
