My problem with the idea of playing league games abroad is that you can’t maintain the integrity of playing home and away. Unless you do the return fixture abroad too but that seems very unlikely.
Well, yeah. It’s a competitive game. Are you more bothered about league games during the season or preseason friendlies. I’m not saying this is a good idea…unless they’re trying to generate as much money as possible. Which they are.
MO’s point makes sense, but since when to clubs care about integrity when there’s money to be made?
They're always going on about players needing rest no doubt having to play a few games in a different time zone won't do them much good.
