It was the same for Coquelin. A lot of his performances prior to this season went unnoticed and when I said he deserved a shot, some were saying he found his level at the Championships, couldn't cut it in Germany or something along those lines.
Sometimes we're too quick to write off players that have only had sporadic appearances in the first team.
Did anyone else catch Vlaar basically assault Koscienly on teh corner that BFG scored from? Guy has his shirt basically pulled off.
Should have been a pen if BFG didn't score.
