    Wait what?

    Where's Koscielny and Mertesacker?

Ahh. Back injury and ill, respectively.

We need to panic Liverpool and I don't know if we can pull that off if they sit deep. Ox doesn't have the end product imo and Theo has the end product but can't dribble like Ox. We'll need a different approach.
That doesn't mean both full backs bomb forward at the same time and that space behind should be covered by the attacker behind who isn't as far forward - or shouldn't be anyway. Theo is no good in games where we face a wall, he always struggles to make an impact and Ox will go at people and force the issue a bit more. They are definitely going to sit deep, like most teams do against us, so using width is the only way to counteract that but that doesn't have to mean both wingers and full backs are progressively forward all the time. If you can get the first goal in the first fifteen it opens up the game and changes how Liverpool approach things so we can respond differently too. When we don't score for ages, then it becomes a problem because we rapidly run out of ideas.

At least Chambers gets to play at CB again, where he performed well.

    3-3 tbh.

    Where's our defence?

Edit: back injury and illness apparently.

    Thank God Sturridge isn't playing.

Massive test for the centre backs, hopefully the midfielders are intelligent enough to realise that and offer them plenty of protection.

    No Ox again though FFS.

Same old crap tonight then, except with a weaker defence.
