Van Genuis has done the unthinkable, because of him, Stoke are a lot more enjoyable to watch than Man ure.

Surely Abramovich is going to pull the trigger on Mourinho soon?

    What a shambles.

The only reason he is still there is because they don't want any major upheaval before a champions league game where they still need a point to progress, i think he has to win at Leicester next weekend (not just not be beaten but win) or he's gone.

To be fair Stoke were actually quite good to watch with that front three, reminded me of us at our best....excellent free flowing but wasteful :-)

I don't think Maureen will be going anywhere. The Russian knows what he's capable of and this is a chance to take him down a peg or two. I doubt Abramovich is that worried because there's no way the chavs will continue to under perform like this. A couple of good wins on the back of good performances and they will get going, but this time with a humbled Maureen who will think twice before doing stupid things like abusing his staff and humiliating his players. When are we due to play them next. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if we are the club to get the chavs back on track.

Agree on Stoke. Horrible to have to admit but they played really well and I enjoyed watching them, albeit highlights. That cheating diving little bastard they have who was providing all the assists, good player. What are good players doing at Stoke? Blasphemy.

I don't know....i think he's lost the dressing room.....and as i'm sure you agree the level of c**tishness (the asterisks are because I'm at work) at that club goes beyond the manager.....and these morally bankrupt rich boys are throwing a strop and know there are no consequences for their behaviour (just because he's had a poor season, doesn't mean Hazard still won't command a substantial fee from Real Madrid.
That said he is definitely the architect of his downfall because i genuinely believe he is mentally ill, his narcissistic tendencies tend to decay anything good he achieves and if he stays at a club more than two seasons it tends to end acrimoniously because of this. After fifteen games it just looks clear that things aren't going to get better, the tactical set up was ridiculous.....why play Hazard up front when he is going to drift wide and make crosses in for no-one.....as much as the players haven't performed he is setting them up to fail.
The reason he behaves the way he does is because he has an innate self-destructive tendency, it's not to excuse it but i think it's not something he even has much control over (armchair diagnosis but if you look at any of the major characteristics of Clinical Narcissism and Mourinho is a textbook example of someone with a major personality disorder).....so if Abramavich is looking to take him down a peg or two it simply won't work.
But simply put Hazard, Fabregas (the two key players in his title win last season) just aren't upping their game, and as a result Costa is affected because he's got nothing to feed off.

Long term you are probably right, associations with Maureen will always end in doom because he's unbalanced. But short term he'll eat shit if he has to. He can't afford to be kicked out of chavland, he'll have to play ball. I'm a narcissistic sociopath myself, probably. I have always hated everyone I have ever worked with, hated their behaviour, attitudes, ideas, motivations, just hated everything about them. But I can find ways to keep it all under wraps and play along when there's advantage in it for me. I can't keep it up for ever and always end up getting sacked in the long term, but short to medium term I can bite my tongue. I suspect Maureen can and will have to do the same. He'll recover some sort of form, get the team rolling, the media will reboot the love-in, Maureen will get comfortable and then he'll revert to his true nature and it will all go to shit again. You'd have to think Abramovich has his own issues, it must be such fun being around that loony bin.

Obviously i don't know you at all, but you don't come across as someone with NPD, i think you are very forthright in your opinion and you are unafraid to tell people what you think (and why should you this is a forum, not a family funeral) but i imagine the people you didn't like and couldn't work with it was more about them being morons than them criticising you which sparked an immediate backlash because your immediate response to criticism is aggression (usually ad hominem).
I see you debate with Letters and if you say something disparaging it's normally of the views he holds and not because you think he has dared disparage you, and unless you do a very good job of hiding it you never seem particularly angry or spiteful in your responses.
And so i can imagine even if you intensely dislike someone you are quite even handed about it, Mourinho isn't....look how he has become with Wenger...absolutely and totally obsessed.
