The media is where the "anonymous", "stealing a living", myths originated. Neither were ever true but repeat the lie enough times and some will accept it. Ozil - over 3 chances per game created since the day he arrived. That's why he was brought here and he's delivered.
Stats compared to the "Fabregas is God" (according to the media) season. Even in his first year, nothing at all wrong with Ozil's contribution.

I am making an honest evaluation. The media have only recently been forced to do the same because their position was becoming more ludicrous by the day. Now everybody goes from "Anonymous" Ozil to brilliant Ozil, as if by magic.
