That bit thats bolded applies to Arteta, Yossi as well.. they are not at their best and injury prone right now, so why did we sign them? OH was never going to play 40 games but to have him come on in 70+ minutes to anchor the midfield, add experience, thats priceless. AW previously could at least find a bargain but he seem to have lost that ability as well..

Well we have had journeymen like Rosicky, Diaby, RVP, Walcott who have been looked after by our medical team for ages.. why not another guy like Hargreaves? The part about signing Hargreaves is that if he didnt stay fit, all we'd really lose is 100-200K on his medical condition(s) and nothing else. However him being fit for 20+ games is worth 2-3 million quid at least. Why couldnt we gamble on 100-200K?
Lets just assume that we got him and he broke down every other week, his presence and experience in the dressing room is also another plus factor. if you are wanting prescence, i would rather have sol campbell, sign him on a free and owuld be much better cos at least he cares about the club. yes hargreaves has won something but you cant really say that for his stay at united, he hardly played so he didnt really contribute. silvestre was a winner at united but was utter shit for us
