Wenger said yesterday that he had a problem with his Achilles that hadn't expected that would cause a delay. A couple of weeks ago Cazorla said he was aiming for the Barcelona return game. So there has been a problem.

What an appropriate date.
Physical stature aside Cazorla was always a good fit for a central role and we know that he had played there for his last cub so I'm not sure it should have been the surprise it was that he dictated things there and performed as admirably as he did.
His goal scoring has been terrible the last year or so but he is one of those payers that offer technical stability...... Either physical stability or technical stability is required in midfield if not both and he was the latter It was only age against him to my mind and people paid far too much attention to his size.
He cannot come back quickly enough.....
