There's no way you can say something like that. People take tragic news in different ways. Didn't Sagna play the day after his dad died or something? It doesn't mean they care any less.
But Speed made Ramsey the captain and I'm sure he would've had a close friendship but hard to say anything beyond that. Not sure Ramsey would've featured in mid-week anyway.
