You can't blame them for enjoying their success. We can all complain about how "money can't buy class", but this is modern football, and City are doing what it takes to break the top 4 oligopoly. Moreover, you can't say Arsenal haven't sold out as a club either. We've priced out a lot of supporters through extortionate ticket prices, our "sustainable" model is built on fleecing the fans, the board don't care about anything apart from making a return on their investment. So this City bashing shouldn't blind us the fact that our club is run in a very poor manner. Yes, it may be "sustainable" and makes business sense, but we're being sold down a river at the moment. Gazidis is using City as a convenient smokescreen, claiming they've distorted the market and they are the reason why we can't compete in the transfer market, and why we must follow the prudent model that we're following. Dont' believe this BS, the club would have been run purely as a private business regardless of City.
