Great win, RVP the hero again....he's been absolutely brilliant in recent times.

Hard to believe we're in the top 4 right now.

Another example of why we will get relegated without Van Persie. I hope to God those greedy money grabbing cunts (aka 'the board) are having a whip round for Van Persies salary to make him stay.

More importantly- Does anyone actually know why Alan Hansen hates us so much? You can see the resentment in his eyes when he's forced to admit that we're kicking arse atm.

Didn't see the game but heard it was hard fought. Should have been a bit more clinical from the brief highlights I've watched.

    RVP.

What a fucking man. Absolute hero.

Please get someone in Wenger so we don't have to rely on his brilliance all the time. It doesn't even have to be a big name, just someone who can notch up a couple when given a chance. Defenders must be loving it when Park or Chamakh take the field.

Can't argue with our form right now, brilliant stuff. Annoyingly Spurs and City are matching us game for game, but hopefully they blink before us.

Yeah calling Arsenal and Arsene brilliant is a sure sign of him hating us

I don't know what Park has done for people to immediately write him off. The same thing that happened to Koscielny and Oxlade. Kos was always a decent defender but because we wanted someone with Mertesacker's credentials, we were disappointed. I understand that much. But Park hasn't shown anything that suggests he can't be a good finisher. In the few appearances he has made, he has shown good ability and a 'busy' style. Wenger has said that he will see much more of him now. Wenger did the same thing with Eduardo and others. I get the feeling had we paid £10m for Park, people would be more encouraged.

I agree with MOe that we should be looking to get a striker in. But obviously we're not going to get a 'world-class' striker or anything approaching Van Persie's level...because people approaching Van Persie's ability are settled with very good teams and don't fancy moving to a club where their chances of starting important games depend on someone else's chances of being injured (no matter how likely we consider it to be in Van Persie's case). After that you have to ask whether we can attract, in January, someone who is better than Park. And that is difficult to say because we don't really know how good Park is.

Could be worse. Could be Bendtner and Park. The thought just makes you shudder. Striker most defenitely needed

he's written off because firstly a lot of people are anxious for more depth upfront with instant impact and secondly because he is from s korea, not a nation renowned for potent strikers in the european game.

park has shown some good touches so far, the goal against bolton seemed to come very naturally and effort saved against city was hard but well taken. like any player, given a run in the team and we'd see more from him, although we do need another striker when chamakh is going for a month in january. something in the cost range of eduardo would be fine, wenger has a good eye for forwards so hopefully he's going through his list in preparation right now.

I can't understand why Wenger isn't at least trying to play Park on the left wing. When Gervinho is gone, we might need him to play there and at least he gets games and learns how to flow with the team with RVP gets injured.

I can't undersand how anyone can write him off with so few appearances. It's pretty ignorant. The logic behind such thinking is that if he's good enough, he'd get games, but it's not as simple as thy with Wenger. There is a pecking order and he sticks to it. A lot of people were skeptical of Chesney when he was making noise about playing first team football and doubters were saying he can't that good of Wenger is playing Almunia and Fabianski ahead of him. He's lucky, if those guys had never picked up injuries, he wouldn't have played last season. I think it's the same for Park. He's waiting in the wings and will get his shot when someone is injured or when players go away for the ACON. It takes Wenger a very long time to give up on a player and he will keep giving Chamakh chances.

All I know is we're winning and that's good enough. It's hard to say the manager is getting it wrong when we are winning all our games.
