There's a big difference between the cases.

The FA didn't need to prove that Suarez made a racist comment. Suarez admitted he did, but he was pleading ignorance on the grounds that it's an accepted jokey reference from where he comes from. Once it has been established that a racist remark was made, the FA was always going to act strongly considering the fuss about racism in football recently.

In John Terry's case, he denies it outright. Whether you think it's 99% clear from the video or not that he said 'black cunt', the FA is forced into proving it which is more difficult. And I think they'll look to make it as difficult as possible. John Terry's in the clear IMO.

think terrys story is that he did say it but he said it because he was telling ferdinand that he diddnt call him a black cunt. he admits to using the words but says he only said them as he was saying he didnt say them
