The fact is that Suarez has been punished for racially abusing another player.

Him and LFC can twist it all they want, but he pretty much admitted to using the words/names that he was accused of.

Who gives a fuck if its not racist in his country? It is in this country, where he plays, and Evra doesnt come from Uraguay so clearly he found it offensive.

If LFC are going to accept the punishment with no appeal, then they should along with Suarez be big enough to come out and issue an apology and put it all to bed.

All Suarez had to say was, 'I am sorry if Ive offended him, in my country its not considered a racist thing to say, so I can only apologise and I will choose my words more carefully in the future'

along with LFC 'We as a club do not condone racism or racist abuse towards other professionals on the pitch or anywhere else. Obviously there has been some confusion as to the acceptibility of what was said between two players of different nationalities, but we respect the FA's decision and consider the matter closed.'
