Wherever people want to draw the line, I think racist insults are not close to it. To my mind, it's like reacting to a Shawcross of a challenge by enquiring where the line for a red card is. Out of a 100 people, 2 or 3 might say it wasn't a red card challenge. It's a matter of opinion because anything involving human behaviour is, but I think those 2 or 3 people would be wrong.
