It’s not a defence. Watch how he plays and read what I’m saying about him. He shouldn’t be starting on the flanks and even Wenger says his future is as a striker. So why is he playing him on the right wing game after game when his final ball is shocking and he can’t dribble? Theo isn’t the only player I think Wenger has mismanaged. Eboue on the flanks was a terrible decision, Vela on the flanks, Diaby on the flanks, Hleb on the flanks, Nasri, Arshavin, Rosicky.......do you remember when Wenger was trying to convert Song into a centreback? I was totally against that and have always said it’s waste of talent. His decisions are baffling sometimes and the only explanation is that this is all in aide of Theo’s development as a player. Trying to get him to be a complete striker. But that crippled Vela’s confidence and it is having the same effect on Theo. Besides messing up the player, it’s no good for the team to play handicapped like this. This obsession with youth development is overindulgent and unhealthy for the club.
