Syn's chancing days .

The standard of the top guys is ridiculous in recent years. The top three have raised the bar in their own way every year. Even though Murray hasn't won a Slam, his consistency is outstanding. If he doesn't win any, he'd be one of the best not to. If he was playing in the post-Sampras, pre-Federer pub team era, he'd have notched up quite a few. Hewitt, Safin and Roddick have won Slams, but I'd argue Murray is a better player than they were in their prime (well certainly in the case of Roddick). And Djokovic has earned his position. Everything was already in place for him, he just improved his mentality slightly and made sure the physical side wasn't a liability anymore.
