Henry and Gallas I don't think I would have ever considered making them captain. Cesc was promising but I think he was not hard enough to make the players follow. RvP does seem more of a tough player. When he goes to Barca If he leaves, I think Verm is the next natural captain with perhaps Wilshere as vice.

Good for Theo that he at least acknowledges how poor he has been. That just leaves Ach on planet earth thinking he's been playing well (not even Theo agrees with him ) First step to fixing a problem is admitting you have one so hopefully Theo is ready to turn a corner.

Whatever RvP decides, he's given his all to Arsenal this season and hopefully everyone is going to respect him for that. Fantastic player from the old school.
