ARSENE WENGER may rest Arsenal star Robin van Persie for tomorrow's clash with Blackburn. The Gunners chief is becoming increasingly concerned by the amount of games Van Persie, 28, is being forced to play. Should the 21-goal Dutchman line up for the home clash with Rovers, it would the striker's third match in seven days. Van Persie has started 22 of Arsenal's 23 league games in a rare injury-free season. Wenger is terrified he is pushing his star man to the limit but does not have many attacking options to choose from. Loanee Thierry Henry, who played 21 minutes as a sub in Wednesday's 0-0 with Bolton, still looks short of sharpness. With Moroccan frontman Marouane Chamakh yet to return from the African Nations Cup, the only other alternative is South Korean Ju-Young Park. Defender Kieran Gibbs is back in full training following a setback from hernia surgery and could come into the reckoning tomorrow.
