Wilshere would have bossed that midfield as well.
Injury curse needs to piss off tbh.

Mesbah.......Theo finally found the one fullback that he could take on and beat. Still couldnt take advantage though.
That ref was horrible, obviously told to disrupt us as much as he believably could. He was oh so close to not giving the penalty
Another key part of the learning curve for Szczesny and Oxlade. Wilshere went through it last season. Those 3 are going to form the core for this team. Supported by Gibbs, Jenkinson, Coquelin and Miyaichi. We’ll hold on to Koscielny, Song, Sagna. And Van Persie is in this for the long haul, so I do actually think we’ll be able to strengthen a fair bit this summer even if we don’t spend much. Ironically, just as Wenger has called off ‘Project Youth’ and started bringing in Mertesacker, Arteta and more experienced players, the current crop of youngsters are the ones worth sticking with. They have already shown they are not a bunch of Vela’s. They have been performing at the highest level and they’re not the weak links in this squad. In fact, I think Oxlade staying on could’ve tipped it in our favour today.
Not playing until Monday is nice - gives everyone a chance to recover. Next up, killing off Pardew’s bunch of calypso charlatans would be welcome. Moving St. Totteringham’s day forward a year to April/May 2012 would be very welcome.
The game was there for the taking and we fucked it up . RVP squandered the best chance to make 4 . Song becoming complacent . Poor substitution from Wenger Chamack and Park ? just like Squillaci and djourou . But bravo gunners to have restore our pride .
DO NOT POSTPONE TODAY'S DUTY FOR TOMORROW .IT MAY BE TOO LATE .
Hmm, so close and yet so far ... Restored some pride I guess, but irritating substitutions from Wenger again. Chamakh coming on was fair enough, but why why why bring on Park? Jenkinson was the obvious choice for his ability to deliver a decent cross.
It's getting to the point now where Oxlade has to be one of the first names on the team sheet. Even at 18 he looks a cut above the rest. When he was dead on his feet he was still tracking back and launching into tackles. New Rosicky is also great to see - he was the biggest influence on the super first half IMO.
