Most offensive players do take the odd dive, from what I've seen Messi's nowhere near the worst culprit. Most players make a meal out of things if they think they'll get an advantage.

If they all are, then fine. Lets have some consistency. In these Messi v Ronaldo comparisons, Ronaldo seems to have a ridiculously unfair bias against him. I'm not a fanboy of either - unlike others, I'm capable of thinking for myself and I can see that Ronaldo doesn't really do that Drogba "Argh! I'm dying!" shit any more. In fact, he stopped doing that a long time ago even at Man Utd. He's a flashy ponce but that doesn't make him a bad guy. Messi is just as bad as he is on the pitch. And if we're going for "well X did this, so he's a ***...Y did this, so he's a ****", then it's a bit like Joker's argument for why everyone blaming Man City isn't fair - because everyone spends money and makes use of the financial advantages they have given it's not a level playing field, which we know is bollocks.

Cheating is part of the game whether we like it or not now. Just like the money so you have to accept it, does not mean you have to like it. Cheating is in every league and every game these days, so like you say we can't just blame these too. But i do think Messi gets fouled a lot more then he dives.
