Match was filthy as fuck but fantastic result. Effort levels were phenomenal even though our football wasn't fluent at any stage of the game. But that's probably because Dortmund are absolute bastards to play against. They just won't stop pressing. This starting XI have put in a magnificent shift twice in the week already. Is it too much to ask them to do it once more on Sunday?

Agreed. But suddenly there looks to be a bit of steel about this team and I am more confident now than before that we won't lose our heads. The communication is a lot better, and the likes of Flamini and Arteta should help us in that department. We came back after Dortmund and Chelsea at home - and results like tonight's create a fear factor in other teams. Now if we can keep the away form going at OT even the biggest sceptic will have to admit that finally we are looking like the real deal.

We know how to defend now. That is the single biggest catalyst for our form IMO.

For years we've had our positive attacking play undermined by some appalling defending but now we seem to have struck up a balance. Long may it continue.
