A point isn't too bad as long as we get back to sweeping away the lower teams.
IMO we just have to win this one. It would mean we'd be top at Christmas and show we can beat one of the sides being taken more seriously as title contenders.
Anything less and I think it's another battle to stay in the top 4 - a battle I'm confident we'd win but IMO this game will set the pattern for the rest of the season.
    Have to win.

An absolute Must Win after what can only be described as a shit weekend.

I definitely see us pubbing a win (stuff of champions elect tbf) against a dull, uninspiring and negative Maureen led chavs.

Time Wenger upended that smug fraud.

A point also just proves we can't win the big games.

No fucking around, we need the three points.

Will the special one be tempted to leave Mata out...? Mata usually has a telling contribution against us to say the least.

John Cross writes Koscielny has been training over the weekend and Arsenal hope he'll be fit for tomorrow's game. If that's the case, we're able to start our first-choice team, 9 days rest, at home. No real excuses.

Oh, forgot about the heavy rain and blustery winds. A draw at best.

I completely see where you are coming from with this because I have been leaning towards us just taking a draw over the past few days and moving on, that's how unsure I am about how we are going to fare in tonights game. A few weeks back I thought this was going to be 3 points for us...but I have a really bad feeling about tonight, I am naturally like that about most Arsenal games involving our rivals!

Despite the above, we really do have to win tonight, not only to give ourselves top spot for Xmas, but to also send a message to our rivals that we're not going to fall away. We have done pretty well at home against our rivals at home this season, taking 3 points off Spuds & Liverpool and drawing with Everton.

More than anything we need to play very well just for confidence sake.

    Must win.

    And we will.
NOTE: The location of this post has been moved and the thread title (which was previously Wenger is Leaving) has been manipulated by a notorious pro-Wenger moderator. What was previously a message that contained no profanity and made a comment on a real life event has now been manipulated by a deliberately provocative title. An old and crude propaganda and censorship technique.

Did we ever beat Mourinho at our place in his first stint?
You used to be everything to me
    Now you're tired of fighting

No, Wenget has yet to get one over Mourinho.

    He better tonight though.

    From Alastair on Redcafe:

Real possibility the Arsenal game will either be off or the attendance will be about 30k. I only live about ten miles from the ground and my train company has already cancelled some services and warned people not to travel.
